The Renaissance Program & Chocolate Included Theater Co. is once again offering summer theater programs during the month of June at Creekside Elementary.  Creekside has a full stage, gym and playground that we use for the camps.  Come be part of the fun, the excitement, the suspense . . . the music, the FUN!!!!  We provide costumes, build sets, and include lots of singing and dancing in our shows.  Everyone gets their own part in the shows.   To sign up or request additional information, send an email to chocolateincluded@msn.com and we will email a registration form to you and answer your questions.  You can also call (303) 499-6570 for more information.

  • One-Week Programs

     

    Jungle Book       

    Based on Kipling’s famous story with all the songs children love.  Come join Baloo, Bagheera, Kaa, King Louie, little Mowgli and all the animals in this fun-filled jungle adventure.  Lots of great music and dances are in this wonderful show. Class size maximum 25 students.

    Schedule:  9:30-3:30 M-F                                                           Price: $250   [Extended Day Option: $300 (8:30 am -5 pm)] 

    Ages:  Grades 1-6                                                                     Dates:  1 week class:  June 2nd-6th    Show: Friday the 6th

     

    Cinderella

    Cinderella and all your favorite characters and songs are included in this timeless musical.  This show is a favorite for young and old.  Class size maximum 25 students.

    Schedule:  9:30-3:30 M-F                                                           Price: $250   [Extended Day Option: $300 (8:30 am -5 pm)] 

    Ages:  Grades 1-6                                                                     Dates: 1 week class:  June 23rd-27th   Show: Friday June 27th

     

    Two-Week Programs (1/2 day or full-day options)

     

    Phantom of the Opera

    This is an amazing show with beautiful music and wonderful acting parts from comedic to tragic.  A variety of theater, music and dance technique work starts each day followed by performance rehearsal.  Class size maximum 25 students. 

    Schedule:  8:30 – 12:30 M-F (and performance Saturday)            Price: $200 per week [See extended day option below]

    Ages:  4th grade and higher                                                        Dates:  2 week class:  June 9th – 21st

    Show:  Saturday the 21st

     

    Little Shop of Horrors

    Everyone’s favorite doo-wop musical with Seymour, Audrey, the plant, the dentist, Mr. Mushnik and the doo-wop girls. This wonderful musical will be huge fun with great parts for boys and girls.  A variety of theater, improve and dance technique work starts each day followed by performance rehearsal. Class size maximum 25 students. 

    Schedule:  1:30-5:30 M-F (and performance Sunday)       Price: $200 per week [See also extended day option below]

    Ages:  4th grade and higher                                            Dates:  2 week class:  June 9th – 22nd

    Show:  Sunday the 22nd

     

    Extended Day Option.  Need an extended day option for the Phantom of the Opera or Little Shop of Horrors    programs?  Choose between these two options to build a full day program:

    • Sign-up to be a cast member in both the morning and afternoon shows.  Children can request a smaller part in one of the plays if they prefer.
    • Pick either the morning or afternoon show in which to be a cast member and also sign-up to be the creative force behind the sets, costumes, and props for both the shows for the other part of the day and have free time to study your lines or play!   

    Supervised lunch from 12:30 – 1:30 and outdoor play is included in either extended day option.  Price for the extended day program is $300 per week.
